Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The sixth question of the fatwa number ( 9404 )
Q6: I made an oath regarding my wife by saying to her: “By Allah, I will not have intercourse with you for more than four months,” and then I had intercourse with her before four months had passed. What should I do?
A6: If the situation is as described, it is obligatory for you to pay the expiation for an oath
which is: feeding ten poor people from the middle of what you feed your family, or clothing them, or freeing a believing slave. If you are unable to do so, then fast for three days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
