Lying to the family of his second wife about the number of his children from his first wife

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 8832 )
Q3: A man divorced his wife and married another. When he proposed to the second one,
Her family was informed, and she also told them that he had three sons from his divorced wife, so they agreed to it. However, after the marriage, it became clear that he had five sons, not three. At that point, the girl's maternal uncle took a negative stance toward the husband—this was, of course, after the marriage—and asked him to divorce his cousin on the grounds that he had lied to them. Is it obligatory for the husband to divorce her because of this lie? It is known that the girl's father and mother did not ask him to divorce her.

A3: He is not obligated to divorce her for that, and it is not permissible for her maternal uncle to object. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
