He divorced her with one pronouncement and wants to take her back

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 4895 )
Q: I inform your eminence that on the night of Sunday, corresponding to
14 \ 8 \ 1402 AH, at two o'clock after midnight, a discussion took place between me and my wife (Q.H. Sh), which led me to lose my temper beyond what the discussion warranted, whereupon I uttered a single pronouncement of divorce, saying: "You are divorced." After that, she and her two children were taken to my brother's house so that I could seek a fatwa and know what the Shari'ah requires. Please note that she is not pregnant, she is breastfeeding her daughter, and there was no prior divorce nor any subsequent divorce. Please issue a fatwa, may Allah reward you with the best reward.

A: If the situation is as you described, then one pronouncement of divorce is effective upon you, and you may take her back as long as she is in the waiting period. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
