Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 2673 )
Q1: I have my brother's children who were raised with my family; they all eat at my house. They are now between 16 and 18 years old, and the girls are the same. The girls do not observe hijab in front of my sons. What is the ruling?
A1: It is obligatory for your daughters to observe hijab in front of your brother's sons. The fact that the boys were raised in your house has no effect. Therefore, any one of them is permitted to marry any one of your daughters whom he wishes. Likewise, it is obligatory for your brother's daughters to observe hijab in front of your sons, because raising them all in one house has no effect. Therefore, any one of your sons is permitted to marry any one of your brother's daughters whom he wishes.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
