Q3: Is there any authentic hadith regarding the topic of choosing righteous maternal uncles for our sons when we proceed to marriage? Knowing that I am about to do so, if Allah wills, I hope for some advice regarding marriage from our distinguished scholars.
A3: Yes, it is authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he encouraged marrying a woman of faith, and marrying a woman who is loving and fertile, which indicates great concern for choosing a righteous wife; due to the marital benefits that result from this,
and the impact on the offspring in terms of righteousness and uprightness. Allah the Exalted said:[An-Nisa 4:34] And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
