The refusal of a young woman to marry after the death of her first husband
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 4921 )
Q5: Is it permissible for a young woman to refuse to marry after the death of her first husband?
A5: The Shari'ah encourages marriage and urges it, so the guardian of this young woman should advise her to marry and encourage her to do so. If she refuses and he does not fear fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) for her, he should leave her alone. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
