Adherence to Hijab
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 6260 )
Q5: A father prevents his daughter from wearing the niqab on her face. Is it permissible for her to wear it without his knowledge or to wear it against his will? Knowing that her father is very sensitive to anger, and that it leads to fatigue and medical complications for him.
A5: She must wear the hijab in obedience to Allah, even if her father dislikes it; because there is no obedience to a created being in disobedience to the Creator. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
