Abandoning the hijab is a sin
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The sixth question of Fatwa No. ( 5953 ):
Q6: A woman has a father who learned that she covers herself from men, so he cut her off. What is the ruling in this matter?
A6: If the situation is as described, her father cutting her off does not harm her; rather, it is not permissible for him to do so. This is because her action is obedience to Allah, and abandoning the hijab is a sin. There is no obedience to a created being in disobedience to the Creator. He is sinful in what he did, may Allah guide him. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
