Q7: Is it permissible for a woman to agree with her husband on matters that she feels Allah is not pleased with, but she feels that following her husband will affect him and change his nature for the better, and sometimes she is forced to lie to him for the sake of benefit and nothing else?
A7: It is not permissible for her to obey him in disobedience to Allah, such as anal intercourse or intercourse during menstruation; due to the hadith:Mishkat al-Masabih 3696 and His saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Sunan Abi Dawud 2625Sahih (Al-Albani) As for lying to him, there is no harm in it if it leads to a benefit and does not harm anyone; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted a dispensation for spouses to lie to one another in matters concerning their mutual benefit, provided it does not harm others. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
