I fasted some days of Ramadan due to an illness that afflicted me, and I was unable to make up all of those days in the same year, and I did not make them up until another year had passed

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I fasted some days of Ramadan due to an illness that afflicted me, and I was unable to make up all of those days in the same year, and I did not make them up until another year had passed. So, is there anything required of me other than that?

The Shaykh : There is nothing required of you other than that, because you left them for an excuse, meaning: you delayed them to the second year for an excuse, which was the inability to fast. And in that case, nothing is required of you except fasting them, and you have done so. And Allah the Exalted said in His Book:
So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days
[Al-Baqarah 2:185]
So you have performed what Allah made obligatory upon you, and we ask Allah for acceptance for us and for you.
