Making up the days of Ramadan in winter

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 14316 )
Q: What is the ruling on making up the days of Ramadan in winter, which, as we know, are short days?
A: It is obligatory for one who has broken the fast for days in Ramadan to make them up before the next Ramadan, whether in the days of winter or other days, due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] - then an equal number of days [are to be made up]فَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ
[Al-Baqarah 2:184]
, and it is established that A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) had days to make up, and she did not make them up except in Sha'ban because of the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
