If one of his wives is ill, is her right to equal division of time waived?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question, Fatwa number ( 4060 )
Q1: He married another woman in addition to his wife, and the first wife is ill. He has provided a residence for each of them. He says: I do not find care in the old house, but I find service in the last house. So, am I sinful if
I sit in the last house more often for the reason of the service, and am I sinful if I sleep more with the last wife? My intention is nothing other than what I mentioned regarding the lack of health?

A1: Justice between wives is obligatory in terms of residence, food, clothing, and lodging. This is the principle. You must fear Allah as much as you are able and be just between them. If you wish to prefer one over the other for the reasons you mentioned, you must seek the permission of the other wife. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
