The inquirer asked a question, the text of which is as follows: We are sending to Your Eminence the transaction from the Civil Affairs Department in Jeddah, No. (11642/H) dated 18/12/1408 AH, regarding the request of the citizen Hamad Muhammad al-Zahrani to add his wife: 'Ala Allah Ahmad Muhammad, of Yemeni nationality. We hope for your feedback whether the name of the aforementioned woman is considered appropriate in terms of the Shari'ah or not? With our regards
After the Committee studied the inquiry, it answered: We do not know of any harm in it; because it is from the category of attributing the created to its Creator, like Bayt Allah (House of Allah), Naqat Allah (She-Camel of Allah), and 'Abd Allah (Servant of Allah), etc.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
