Q2: If a man has a child, and he does not have money to slaughter for him until a year or more has passed, and then he finds money, does he slaughter for him at this time, or is it dropped from him?
A2: It is recommended (sunnah) that he perform the 'Aqiqah for him when it becomes easy for him to do so, even if it is after a year or more.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
