I performed Hajj a year ago and made some mistakes out of ignorance: I did not stone the pillars at all during the days of Tashriq, and I did not perform the farewell circumambulation out of ignorance

The questioner : He says: May the Shaykh be respected, I performed Hajj a year ago and made some mistakes out of ignorance: I did not stone the pillars at all during the days of Tashriq, and I did not perform the farewell circumambulation out of ignorance. All these things happened while I am now about to get married and my circumstances are very difficult, so do I have an expiation?

The Shaykh : The matter is easy. Now, what did you leave? The stoning and the farewell circumambulation. These two are obligatory. The scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) mentioned that whoever leaves an obligatory act must offer a sacrificial animal. Therefore, he must offer two sacrificial animals, slaughter them in Makkah, and distribute them to the poor. By doing so, his Hajj or 'Umrah (if he was performing 'Umrah) is completed. Yes.
