Q: 1- Must the place chosen to be a prayer ground for performing the two Eid prayers be from the endowments of Muslims, or can it be
in any place? 2 - Must the prayer ground for performing the two Eid prayers be away from the city or village? 3 - If there is a large city and there is no specific place for performing the two Eid prayers outside the city, but there are many open spaces inside the city owned by a non-Muslim government, which grants a permit to perform the Eid prayers on them. 4 - How many takbirs are there in the two Eid prayers, and where are they placed? As observed from the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) .
A4: First: It is prescribed that the two Eid prayers be performed in an open space, and it is not necessary that the place where they are performed be from the endowments of Muslims, nor that it be away from the city or village. Second: If there is no place for Muslims to perform the two Eid prayers in, and a suitable place is found for performing them in, owned by a disbeliever state, and it permits the Muslims residing within it to pray there - then it is performed there, and there is no blame in that, if Allah wills. Third: The number of takbirs in the two Eid prayers: seven in the first, including the takbir of opening, and in the second: five takbirs, excluding the takbir of standing up for the second rak'ah. And the place of the takbirs: the first is after the takbir of ihram, and the second: after the takbir of standing up from prostration for the second rak'ah.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
