The second question of Fatwa No. ( 7918 ):
Q2: What is the interpretation of the saying of Allah the Exalted in verse (71) of Surat Maryam:[Maryam 19:71] ? .
A2: The "entering" in the noble verse refers to passing over the Sirat, which is set up across the back of Hellfire. Many hadiths and athar indicate that the Sirat is set up over Hellfire and that people pass over it according to their deeds. We advise you to review [Tafsir Ibn Kathir ] on this matter for further benefit. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
