The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 6496 ):
Q4: Some people who have not been granted children are guided by others to buy a male goat, for example, and they say: the color of the goat is such and such, as if they say: black, for example, and they say: tie it in your house for such and such a duration, and they say: the reason for the absence of children is a jinn they call: the follower, and they claim that in the state of the goat being in the house, it prevents it from entering the house, and at that time pregnancy occurs. What is the ruling on this?
A4: That is not permissible, and it is a type of fortune-telling, and there is no basis for the truth of what is mentioned; rather, it is a lie and a fabrication. And success is from Allah. And may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
