The second question of Fatwa number ( 4015 ):
Q2: Was the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) subjected to sorcery, and did the sorcery take effect on him?
A2: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was a human being, so it is permissible for him to be afflicted with what afflicts humans, such as pains, illnesses, and the transgression and injustice of creation toward him, just like other humans, up to the like of that which pertains to some matters of this world for which he was not sent and for which the message was not sent. It is not far-fetched that he might be afflicted with an illness or an aggression by someone through sorcery or the like, whereby something is made to appear to him in one of the matters of this world that has no reality, such as being made to think that he had intercourse with his wives when he had not, or that he was strong enough to have intercourse with them, until when one of them came to him, he found no strength to do so. However, the affliction, illness, or sorcery does not extend to receiving revelation from Allah the Exalted or conveying the message from his Lord to the worlds; because the evidence from the Book and the Sunnah, and the consensus of the Salaf of the Ummah, establishes his (peace and blessings be upon him) protection in receiving revelation, conveying it, and all matters pertaining to the affairs of religion. Sorcery is a type of illness with which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was afflicted. It is established from A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim . Whoever denies the occurrence of that has contradicted the evidence and the consensus of the Companions and the Salaf of the Ummah, clinging to doubts and illusions that have no basis in truth, so they are not to be relied upon. The scholar Ibn al-Qayyim elaborated on this in his book [Zad al-Ma'ad], and al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar in [Fath al-Bari]. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Sorcery is a type of illness with which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was afflicted. It is established from A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said:
A man from Banu Zura'ik, whose name was Labid ibn al-'A'sam, cast a spell on the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) until it was made to appear to him that he was doing something when he was not doing it. So when it was one day or one night, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated, then supplicated, then supplicated, and then said: "O A'ishah, do you know that Allah has given me a ruling regarding what I consulted Him about? Two men came to me, and one sat at my head and the other at my feet. The one at my head said to the one at my feet, or the one at my feet said to the one at my head: 'What is the matter with the man?' He said: 'He has been subjected to sorcery.' He said: 'By whom?' He said: 'By Labid ibn al-'A'sam.' He said: 'In what?' He said: 'In a comb and a place where hair is combed.' He said: 'And the skin of a male date palm.' He said: 'Where is it?' He said: 'In the well of Dhu al-Hurwan.' She said: So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to it with a group of his Companions, and then said: "O A'ishah, its water seems like the dye of henna, and its palm trees seem like the heads of devils." She said: So I said: "O Messenger of Allah, should I not burn it?" He said: "No, as for me, Allah has cured me, and I disliked to stir up evil among the people, so he ordered it to be buried."
