Continuation: Is it permissible for a person to attend a wedding feast or marriage in which there is evil, such as drumming, singing, or the like?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : It has reached us that some women wear the abaya in the street, but when they enter, they take it off and become as if they are naked, may Allah protect us from that! This is evil. And among the evils is that some women attend with cameras and photograph the scene. Perhaps some foolish men hide and do the same. This is also among the great evils. And among the evils is that the groom comes to the women's gathering and a seat, or if you wish, a platform, is prepared for him, and he sits with the wife in front of the women. It is even said that some foolish men kiss the wife in front of the women. I seek refuge in Allah! Does this not arouse desire? Answer me, people. Yes, by Allah. No matter how pious the woman is, if she sees a young man and a young woman kissing each other, her desire will be aroused. Perhaps he brings an apple or a sweet and feeds it to the wife in front of the women. All of this is fitnah (trial, discord or temptation). And this is haram (forbidden) without doubt. And uglier than that is that some people bring a video camera and film this scene. All of this has happened recently. Its cause is what the poet said:
"Youth, idleness, and wealth *** are a corruption for a man, what a corruption".
Idleness means having no work. One who does not work to strive for his family or himself is idle. Youth means being young, because the older person is sensible and does not let times go to waste. The third: what is it? Wealth means: richness. For wealth is a corruption except for the one whom Allah Mighty and Majestic guides. The summary now is: that attending feasts is from the Sunnah (recommended practice). But if there is something haram (forbidden) in it, if you are able to change it, then attend and change it; otherwise, do not attend. Yes.
