Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: ... On the contrary, they forbid them from worshipping anyone other than Allah. Or, they may be humans like Pharaoh and his like, who imposed themselves upon their peoples and made them gods besides Allah - Mighty and Majestic - , compelling them to worship and obey them. Thus, the idols are the stones in which they embodied the righteous and the nobles who imposed themselves upon their peoples ... that ... the verse:
what you worship instead of Allah
[Al-Anbya 21:67]
,
Indeed, you إِنَّكُمْ
O you polytheists,
what you worship other than Allah
[Al-Anbya 21:98]
from idols and statues you carved, even if they were statues of the righteous, and from persons you worshipped besides Allah, like Pharaoh, the rabbis, and the monks, and so on
Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell
[Al-Anbya 21:98]
, all of these are entering the Fire.
As for the Messenger - peace be upon him - , even though he was among the prophets, messengers, and righteous ones who warned ... against worshipping them besides Allah, and yet they disobeyed them and worshipped them besides Allah, these are not the intended target of such a noble verse, obviously. And in such a case, His saying - the Exalted - was revealed:
They will not hear its sound
[Al-Anbya 21:102]
What is the beginning of the verse?

Those present :
Indeed, those who have said
[Fussilat 41:30]
.

The Shaykh :
Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah " and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them
[Fussilat 41:30]
.

Those present :
Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us
[Al-Anbya 21:101]
.

The Shaykh:
(101) Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed. (102) They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally.
[Al-Anbya 21:101-102]
and so on.
Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed.
[Al-Anbya 21:101]
Like 'Isa and his like, among those who were worshipped besides Allah - Blessed and Exalted is He - without their consent. This is what ... .

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Yes?

The questioner: And what you worship therein ... for the person of intellect.

The Shaykh: Yes, but not always the meaning for the person without intellect.
