How to Deal with the People of Innovation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A man lived with the Rafidah for a period of time, and then he moved from them to a distant area, and he promised them that he would visit them. Is it permissible for him to fulfill his promise to them or not? Is it permissible for him to greet them and kiss them? Is it permissible for him to eat their food and drink their water?
It is obligatory for a person to give sincere advice to Allah, to His Book, to His Messenger, and to the general public. As for these Rafidah who live with him, he must first: give them sincere advice, clarify the truth to them, and make it clear that what they are upon is not the truth.

Second: If they are stubborn and do not accept the truth, then he should leave them and not sit with them, because they are contrary and stubborn.
As for leaving them and their misguidance without giving advice, this is contrary to the guidance of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and contrary to what Allah has commanded, for the obligatory thing is to give advice first. If Allah guides them to the truth, that is what is sought.
And if they do not find guidance and persist in their misguidance, then he should leave them, not sit with them, and not visit them if he is far from them or they are far from him.
