Your Eminence! You know, may Allah guide you, that most of the areas in Mina are paved, making it difficult to pick up pebbles from them.

The questioner : Your Eminence says: You know, may Allah guide you, that most of the areas in Mina are paved, making it difficult to pick up pebbles from them.

The Shaykh : I mean, in Muzdalifah.

The questioner : No. He says, in Mina, and it is difficult to pick up pebbles. Do you not think that picking them up from Muzdalifah is easier for people, especially with cars?

The Shaykh : By Allah, I do not know; are you watching this? It is the land of Muzdalifah that has a lot of paving. Mina does not have much paving. Then, at the pillars, meaning under the bridge, there are many pebbles. You can pick up seven pebbles before you reach the barrier on the first day, and you can pick up seven pebbles before you reach the first pillar on the second day. Then, if you pass it, you pick up seven for the middle pillar, and then if you pass it, you pick up seven for the last pillar. Picking up pebbles is very easy.
