What is the ruling if a pilgrim goes to Makkah during the days of Tashriq in the daytime, and comes to Mina at night to spend the night there?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : ... The three days of Tashriq in Mina, meaning if the day is long and he stays in his accommodation in Makkah, and goes to stay there at Maghrib, is this permissible?

The Shaykh : It is permissible, but it is a deficiency, because the act of Hajj is not a vacation. One must bear the heat, the wind, the dust, and so on. The situation is such that he spends the whole day, and perhaps the first part of the night as well, in his prepared, cooled, and air-conditioned home, and then he finds a way to go and spend the night there. It is not like that is how the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did it. The important thing is that we do as the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did.
And we will not be able to, but as it was said: "Resemble them, even if you are not like them, *** for resembling the noble ones is success."
As for the fact that we know the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did it this way, and we deviate from it, no, we try to do as he did, and we will not be able to do exactly as he did.
We are excused for what we are not able to do; we want to shorten the prayer to the extent that we are able.
