Is it permissible to ask the one who performs ruqyah about the jinn?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The matter of jinn possessing humans; many of the brothers read over the jinn, then the jinn appears and speaks through the mouth of the man or woman. So, if it speaks, is it permissible for this reciterThe Shaykh : to ask the jinn that has possessed the man or woman, asking it, "What is the matter with so-and-so, the son of so-and-so? Is he possessed by a jinn, or what?"

The Shaykh : May Allah reward you for the question. You inspired it to someone else, and that person directed it to me, and I have already answered it.

The questioner : It is not the same situation.

The Shaykh : No, it is the same situation. Did it not reach you, O Shaykh?

Another questioner : It reached me, your answer.

The questioner : I did not hear the answer, O Shaykh.

Another questioner : I told you, O Shaykh, thatThe Shaykh : he sees such and such in this matter, and that he does not see the permissibility of this, nor asking it.

The Shaykh : This is not permissible, my brother, because it involves seeking aid from the jinn.

The questioner : Even if it is a jinn, O Shaykh, how is it seeking aid? And besides, the jinn are not going to serve us in anything?

The Shaykh : I am not saying service. Is there seeking aid or not? When you ask this jinn that has possessed a human about a matter that is absent from your mind, considering that you are a human, does that not mean that you are seeking its aid?

The questioner: Yes.

Another questioner : Requesting a need.

The Shaykh : Yes, and therefore we said it is not permissible; because seeking aid from the jinn is one of the causes of humans falling into shirk (associating partners with Allah) and misguidance
And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden. وأنه كان رجال من الإنس يعوذون برجال من الجن فزادوهم رهقا
[Al-Jinn 72:6]
And we told our brotherThe questioner : and it appears he was conveying the question from you, we told him that it is not permissible for those who concern themselves with expelling the jinn that has possessed a human except by reciting the Qur'an only, as came from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and as came from Ibn Taymiyyah himself, who used to narrate that about himself; and anything more than that, as we hear today, and including this question, is not permissible in the religion of Islam; and therefore we must fear Allah in everything.

The questioner : More valuable than currency and has no relation to installments?

The Shaykh : No, it is not permissible.
