Discussion of the Night of Decree, its virtue, and the virtue of the last ten nights of Ramadan.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : We are now in the first night of the last ten nights of Ramadan, which includes the Night of Decree, about which Allah said:
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. ليلة القدر خير من ألف شهر
[Al-Qadr 97:3]
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding standing in prayer during it:
Whoever stands in prayer on the Night of Decree with faith and seeking reward, Allah will forgive him what has passed of his sins. من قام ليلة القدر إيماناً واحتساباً غفر الله له ما تقدم من ذنبه
Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:853

It is obligatory for the Muslim, indeed it is obligatory for the believer, to value the breaths of his life and to know that every breath he takes will not return to him again, and that every day that has passed in his life will not return to him again. And every moment, every hour, every day, and every month brings him closer to the Hereafter and farther from this world. Therefore, it is obligatory, indeed it is recommended, that we welcome these last ten nights with sincere determination, seriousness, and effort, just as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to tighten his waistband, keep his night awake, and wake up his family when the last ten nights entered. And you, praise be to Allah, are in this place in al-Masjid al-Haram, keeping most of the night awake between prayer, recitation, gatherings of knowledge, and other things that bring one closer to Allah the Exalted. So we ask Allah to help us and you in His obedience, and to accept from us and from our Muslim brothers.
O my brothers, before we enter into the topic of the lesson, which we will proceed with, if Allah wills, on two axes:
The first axis: speaking about some of the verses we hear from our imams in the recitation of the night prayer.
And the second axis: the lesson appropriate for the session.
