Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And indeed, it is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. It came down by means of the trustworthy Spirit upon your heart so that you may be among the warners."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Allah the Exalted said:
(192) And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. (193) The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down (194) Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - وإنه لتنزيل رب العالمين نزل به الروح الأمين على قلبك لتكون من المنذرين
[Ash-Shu'ara 26:192-194]
. The pronoun "it" refers to the Qur'an. The "in" is for emphasis, and the "lam" is also for emphasis in "revelation." Thus, the sentence is emphasized by two emphatic markers, even though there is no need for emphasis, because the One who reported this is the most truthful of speakers, our Lord, Mighty and Majestic. However, it is the custom of the Arabs in their speech to emphasize a statement regarding a great matter, and so the noble Qur'an came in this manner, for it was revealed in the Arabic language
the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. لتنزيل رب العالمين
[Ash-Shu'ara 26:192]
. It is not the revelation of so-and-so and so-and-so, the Lord of the worlds. It did not say "the revelation of Allah"; it said "the revelation of the Lord of the worlds," indicating that just as His lordship is general for all creation, all creation must believe in this Qur'an. Do you understand? Do you understand? It is obligatory for all of creation to believe in this Qur'an, for it is a revelation from whom? From the Lord of the worlds. And just as He is the Lord of the worlds in general, and no one is excluded from His lordship, it is obligatory for all creation to believe in this Qur'an.
