The questioner : In a past year, I performed the obligatory Hajj with my wife and my wife’s mother, and our Hajj was ifrad. After standing at 'Arafah and when the sun set, we headed to Muzdalifah and stayed there until midnight. Given that there were women with me, and the crowd was very heavy, and I am unable to face the crowd, we stoned the Jamrat al-'Aqabah before the dawn of the tenth day. We also stoned the pillars of the days of Tashriq after midnight of each day. We performed the rest of the Hajj rites approximately at their proper times. Do we have any obligation regarding this? And is our Hajj valid?

The Shaykh : It was not specified in the days of Tashriq whether he stoned after midnight for the previous day or for the coming day. If it was for the coming day, then his stoning is invalid, and according to what the jurists (may Allah have mercy on them) mentioned, he must slaughter a fidyah in Makkah and give it in charity to the poor. But if it was for the past day, such as stoning the pillars on the night of the twelfth for the eleventh, then there is no harm.
