﴿ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴾

The meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And indeed, she intended [the same] and he would have [done so] had he not seen the proof of his Lord. Thus, We turned away from him the evil and the indecency. Indeed, he was of Our servants the sincere."

The Shaykh :
And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her ولقد همت به وهم بها
[Yusuf 12:24]
Because he was young and the place was empty, but Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, protected him from committing this indecency, for the prophets are protected from major sins. He protected him, and for this reason He said:
had he not seen the proof of his Lord. Thus لولا أن رأى برهان ربه كذلك
meaning like this turning away
that We should avert from him evil and immorality. Indeed, he was of Our chosen servants. لنصرف عنه السوء والفحشاء إنه من عبادنا المخلصين
[Yusuf 12:24]
O Allah, make us among Your servants the sincere
Indeed, he was of Our chosen servants. إنه من عبادنا المخلصين
[Yusuf 12:24]
