What is the meaning of "ham" in the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And indeed, she intended [to be alone with him], and he intended [to be alone with her]"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The honorable Shaykh said in yesterday's lesson that you explained to us:
And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her ولقد همت به وهم بها
[Yusuf 12:24]
and that the messengers are protected from sin. So what is the meaning of "he intended [to be alone with her]"?

The Shaykh : Yes. He intended it in his heart. But he did not do anything. And when a person intends to commit a sin and then leaves it for the sake of Allah, he is rewarded for that because he left it for the sake of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. Yes.
