And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her وَلَقَدْ هَمَّتْ بِهِ وَهَمَّ بِهَا
[Yusuf 12:24]
O our Shaykh, what is the correct interpretation of this?

The Shaykh : The desire of Yusuf: it is a human thought.

The questioner : A thought!

The Shaykh : As for the desire of Zulaikha, the wife of the Aziz, it is an actual desire.

The questioner : An actual desire. May Allah reward you with good and make you among the people of Paradise.

The Shaykh : O Allah, amen.

The questioner : Make room, my brother, make room, make room the way for the Shaykh.

Another questioner : We love you, O Shaykh. I wish you would stay longer.

The Shaykh : May Allah bless you.

The questioner : By Allah, we love you for the sake of Allah, O Shaykh.
