Another proof from the Qur'an establishing the grave.

The Shaykh :
And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands ولو ترى إذ الظالمون في غمرات الموت والملائكة باسطوا أيديهم
[Al-An'am 6:93]
the hands of the angels
Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation أخرجوا أنفسكم اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون
[Al-An'am 6:93]
When? Today, meaning it is present. So the "al" in "al" here indicates present presence.
Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant." اليوم تجزون عذاب الهون بما كنتم تقولون على الله غير الحق وكنتم عن آياته تستكبرون
[Al-An'am 6:93]
And reflect, O my brothers, on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
while the angels extend their hands, [saying], "Discharge your souls! والملائكة باسطوا أيديهم أخرجوا أنفسكم
[Al-An'am 6:93]
which indicates that these people are stingy with their souls; they do not want the souls to leave the bodies. Why? Because, may Allah protect us, when death descends upon them and the angels of punishment descend upon them, they say to their souls: "Go out, O evil soul, go out to the anger and wrath of Allah, Mighty and Majestic." When the soul or spirit hears this threat, it scatters throughout the body and recoils, refusing to go out. But they extract it from this body, to which it clings, with great force. As for the believer—may Allah make us and you among them—the angels of mercy come to him and give him glad tidings of Paradise and the pleasure of Allah, so his soul goes out willingly, like a hair pulled from dough.
