What is the meaning of the hadith that when a person dies, his wealth follows him?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Your Eminence, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Three follow the deceased: two return and one remains يتبع الميتَ ثلاثةٌ: يرجع اثنان ويبقى واحد
.

The Shaykh : Three.

The questioner : Three, and one remains.

The Shaykh : No,
Three follow the deceased يتبع الميت ثلاثةٌ
.

The questioner :
Three follow the deceased: two return and one remains, his wealth and his family return and his deed remains يتبع الميت ثلاثةٌ: يرجع اثنان ويبقى واحد، يرجع ماله وأهله ويبقى عمله
How does his wealth follow him?

The Shaykh : Does not a person, when he goes out, go out with his family, is that not so? And he goes out with his wealth, so what is his wealth?
The scholars said: This refers to the deceased who has slaves that follow him, and slaves are wealth that are bought and sold.
And some scholars said: The meaning of his wealth is that for which he is honored, meaning: that people other than his relatives and family go out with him for the sake of his wealth if he was a merchant, so he expressed the followers for the sake of wealth as wealth, do you understand? For this reason, we find that when a poor person is prayed for in the mosque, who follows him?
No one follows him except those who carry the bier, only four or five or six, but if he is wealthy, may Allah will it, they fill the mosque, so this is the following of wealth, and it may also be said: what he is covered with, such as garments or the like, returns, but this is weak, so the meaning is either that the intended wealth is the slave slaves, or that the intended wealth is that for which he is honored, which is: the multitude of people who are not from the family of the deceased.
