Is there a sin in a man delaying marriage?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is there a sin in a man delaying marriage?

The Shaykh : If a man delays marriage while he has the financial and physical ability to do so, this contradicts the guidance of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:
Young man, those of you who can support a wife should marry, for it keeps you from looking at strange women and preserves you from immorality; but those who cannot should devote themselves to fasting, for it is a means of suppressing sexual desire. يا معشر الشباب من استطاع منكم الباءة فليتزوّج فإنه أغضّ للبصر وأحصن للفرج، ومن لم يستطع فعليه بالصوم فإنه له وِجاء
Mishkat al-Masabih 3080
.
The scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) differed regarding a young man who has desire and the ability to marry: does he sin by delaying it or not? Some said that he sins because the command in this matter is for obligation, and delaying an obligatory act is forbidden. Others said that he does not sin because the command in this matter is for guidance, unless he fears committing zina by leaving it off, in which case it becomes obligatory for him to avert this harm.
In any case, my advice to my brothers whom Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has given wealth and who have desire is that they should marry if they have not married for the first time; let them marry and hasten. And if they already have wives and need other wives, then they should marry, for Allah has permitted them to marry up to four. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) encouraged having many children in the Muslim community and said:
Marry women who are loving and very prolific, for I shall outnumber the peoples by you. تزوّجوا الودود الولود فإني مكاثر بكم يوم القيامة
Sunan Abi Dawud 2050Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani)
. There is no doubt that plural marriage is a cause for having many children. It is authentic from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The best of this community is the one with the most women". However, plural marriage is permissible, praiseworthy, and prescribed on the condition that a person is able to be just, both physically and financially. If he fears that he will not be just, Allah the Exalted said:
then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hand possesses. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice].
[An-Nisa 4:3]
. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you. This listener is Khalid Ibrahim 'Abd al-Ghani, residing in Jordan for work. He says, my question is.
