The Shaykh :"And among the examples of this is that among the attributes of Allah the Exalted are coming" Read this verse? Read the verse that establishes this attribute? The one I mentioned.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : This is coming, the second is arriving, recite the verse?
The student:
Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds
[Al-Baqarah 2:210]
.

The Shaykh : Yes
Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds
[Al-Baqarah 2:210]
and taking.
The student:
so Allah seized them for their sins
[Ali 'Imran 3:11]
.

The Shaykh : Yes, there is no god but Allah, yes, and holding.
The student:
Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease
[Fatir 35:41]
.

The Shaykh : And striking, Ahmad?
The student:
Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.
[Al-Buruj 85:12]
.

The Shaykh :"Among other attributes that cannot be counted, as Allah the Exalted said:
And your Lord has come وجاء ربك
What Allah willed, this is the evidence, Allah the Exalted said:
And your Lord has come وجاء ربك
And He said:
Do they await but that Allah should come to them in covers of clouds
[Al-Baqarah 2:210]
And He said:
so Allah seized them for their sins
[Ali 'Imran 3:11]
And He said:
And He restrains the sky from falling upon the earth, unless by His permission
[Al-Hajj 22:65]
And He said:
Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.
[Al-Buruj 85:12]
And He said:
Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship
[Al-Baqarah 2:185]
"
Here we affirm the attribute of will, "And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:
Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven
So we describe Allah the Exalted with these attributes in the manner that has come, and we do not name Him with them, so we do not say that among the names of Allah are the One who comes, the One who arrives, the One who takes, the One who holds, the One who strikes, the One who wills, the One who descends, and the like, even though we inform about Him and describe Him with them"
