Explanation of the Book of the Adhan-06a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, saying: Shu'ayb informed us from al-Zuhri, saying: Anas ibn Malik al-Ansari informed me, and he had followed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), served him, and accompanied him, that Abu Bakr used to lead them in prayer during the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) illness in which he passed away. Until it was on a Monday, and they were in rows in prayer, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) uncovered the curtain of the chamber to look at us, and he was standing, and his face was like a page of a mushaf. Then he smiled and laughed. We were about to be overcome with joy at seeing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so Abu Bakr retreated on his heels to complete the row, thinking that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was coming out to lead the prayer. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured to us to complete your prayer, and he lowered the curtain, and he passed away that day.
