Is it permissible to use artificial teeth in the mouth when natural teeth fall out, given the need for them, and is it permissible to donate the organs of a deceased person after

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : This listener, Aml from Jordan, asks in this question: Is it permissible to use artificial teeth in the mouth when natural teeth fall out, given the need for them, and is it permissible to donate the organs of a deceased person after his death to save the life of another person from death? I hope for your guidance on this?

The Shaykh : It is permissible for a person whose teeth have fallen out to replace them with artificial teeth, because this is removing a defect. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted one of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), whose nose had been cut off, to make a nose of silver. When it became foul-smelling, he permitted him to make a nose of gold, so he made a nose of gold. Likewise, when teeth fall out, a person may place artificial teeth in their stead, and there is no blame on him for doing so.
As for donating an organ after death to a living person who needs it, this is a matter of disagreement among the scholars. The Hanbalis (may Allah have mercy on them) stated that it is forbidden and that it is not permissible to cut an organ from a person, even if he bequeathed it after his death. They mentioned this in the book of funerals. Some scholars have granted a dispensation for it under specific conditions.
