Sometimes success, faith, and reflection are attributed to the heart in the Qur'an, and sometimes to the intellect. What is the relationship?

The Shaykh : For example?

The questioner :
And none will remember except those of understanding.وما يتذكر إلا أولوا الألباب
[Al-Baqarah 2:269]

The Shaykh : Which intellects? But what is meant by intellects here is the intellects of guidance, not the intellects of perception.
The questioner : And the heart, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : The heart is the seat of the intellect. For this reason, Allah the Exalted said:
So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.أفلم يسيروا في الأرض فتكون لهم قلوب يعقلون بها أو آذان يسمعون بها فإنها لا تعمى الأبصار ولكن تعمى القلوب التي في الصدور
[Al-Hajj 22:46]
