Continuation of the benefits of the verse: “How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were dead and He gave you life, then He will cause you to die, then He will give you life again, and then to Him you will return,” and the discussion on establishing the Resurrection

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
And among the benefits of this noble verse is the perfection of the power of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Indeed, this dead body, into which Allah breathes the soul, comes to life and becomes a human being who moves, speaks, stands, sits, and does what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) wills.
And among the benefits of this noble verse is the establishment of the Resurrection, based on His saying after the second death:
and then to Him you will be returned.
[Al-Baqarah 2:28]
The Resurrection was denied by those among the people who denied it, and they considered it unlikely, saying:
Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?"من يحي العظام وهي رميم
[Ya-Sin 36:78]
So Allah the Exalted established eight proofs for the possibility of that at the end of Surat Ya-Sin:
Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time قل يحييها الذي أنشأها أول مرة
[Ya-Sin 36:79]
This is a proof that it is possible for Him to give life to bones when they are crumbled, and His saying:
who produced them the first timeأنشاها أول مرة
[Ya-Sin 36:79]
is a decisive proof and clear argument for the possibility of restoring them, as Allah the Exalted said:
And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him
[Ar-Rum 30:27]
and He is, of all creation, Knowing." وهو بكل خلق عليم
[Ya-Sin 36:79]
This is a second proof, meaning how can He be unable to restore them, while He, Glorified and Exalted is He, is All-Aware of every creation, knowing how He creates things and how He brings them into being, so He is not unable to restore creation.
[It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite.
[Ya-Sin 36:80]
The green tree contains coolness and moisture, and fire contains dryness and aridity; this dry, arid fire comes out of a cool, moist tree.
[It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire
[Ya-Sin 36:80]
How is that? People in the past would strike branches from certain trees with a fire-drill, a thing they called a fire-drill; when they struck it, it sparked, and fire would ignite, so they would have something capable of catching fire that ignites quickly. For this reason, He said:
and then from it you ignite.
[Ya-Sin 36:80]
to confirm that. This tree varies, some of it is clear and easy to extract fire from, and in this regard, the Arabs used to say that every tree has fire, and that the man who is most refined and the Ghafer tree is the most refined, meaning it is superior to the others and has more fire in it.
Is not He who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the likes of them?
[Ya-Sin 36:81]
Yes, indeed, this is the fourth proof. And the fifth is
and He is the Knowing Creator.
[Ya-Sin 36:81]
And in the first of the verses:
and He is, of all creation, Knowing." وهو بكل خلق عليم
[Ya-Sin 36:79]
And here He said:
the Creatorالخلاق
So the Creator’s attribute and His permanent description is creation, and if He is a Creator and His permanent description is creation, He will not be unable to restore man after his death.
His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is.
[Ya-Sin 36:82]
This is also a proof that if He wills something, whatever it is, and “something” is an indefinite noun in the context of a condition, so it implies generality.
His commandأمره
His affair in that is to say to it “Be,” and it is, or
His commandأمره
which is a single command among commands, so the meaning is that His command is only to say “Be,” and He does not repeat it a second time.
So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things
[Ya-Sin 36:83]
This is the seventh proof: everything is owned by Allah (Mighty and Majestic); He annihilates what exists and brings into existence what does not exist, because He is the Lord of all things.
and to Him you will return وإليه ترجعون
This is the eighth proof, because it is not wise for Allah to create this creation, command it and prohibit it, send messengers to it, and have what happens of fighting between the believer and the disbeliever, and then for the matter to be like this, going to waste. Rather, there must be a return, and this is a rational proof. The important point is that Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, is able to restore the dead to life.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is that the destination and return of the creation is to whom? To Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
