Continuation of the explanation of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “And We sent down to you manna and salwa,” and an explanation of the hadith: “The truffle is from manna”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
As for manna, it is a substance that descends like honey. They say that it descends on the trees between the dawn and the rising of the sun, so they go out and eat from it and gather it. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Truffles are a type of manna إن الكمأة من المن
Sunan Ibn Majah 3454Sahih (Darussalam)
because it is obtained without effort. The apparent meaning of the hadith is that what is meant by manna is everything that is obtained by them without effort, whether it is that specific substance which is like honey or something else. Yes? And on this basis, this interpretation is broader than restricting it to that which resembles honey, because the saying of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him):
The truffle is from manna الكمأة من المن
the word “from” here indicates partiality, meaning that manna is broader than this. So the saying of the Messenger that this is from manna indicates that manna is broader and more inclusive. Some of them said that it is everything that is obtained without effort. And on this basis, the fughq, which is the truffle, is included. And does the ‘arjil (wild grape) enter into this, or does it not? It enters, because it is food, one of the best foods. What is the ‘arjil? The ‘arjil, if Allah wills, when the cold becomes intense.
The student: It is present now, praise be to Allah.

The Shaykh : It was found, yes, meaning it was found in abundance this year. It is better that you clarify it so that no one thinks it is mice.
The student: This is well known, O Shaykh.
The student: I do not know it...

The Shaykh : The ‘arjil is a white plant that has... when it is cooked with food, it is one of the best things... the size of a hand... bones, meaning he found it in a place where they consider it to be bones.
The student: But the ‘arjil mentioned in the interpretation of the verse?

The Shaykh : No, no. The ‘arjil in the Qur’an, what is meant by it is the ‘arjūt, its name is ‘arjūt, the fruit of the date palm. If Allah wills, if it becomes abundant now, the apparent indication is that if it becomes a bit abundant, we will see it, if Allah wills, and explain it.
