If a woman visits the City of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and passes by the martyrs of Uhud and the people of al-Baqi' behind the wall without entering them, and repeats the supplication

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If a woman visits the City of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and passes by the martyrs of Uhud and the people of al-Baqi', knowing that she did not enter the graves but was behind the existing mesh, and repeats the transmitted supplication for visiting graves, is there any sin on her for that? I hope for your information?

The Shaykh : There is no sin on the woman if she passes by the cemetery and stops to supplicate for the people of the graves, because she did not come to this cemetery to visit it, but rather she left her house for her need and passed by the cemetery in a manner not intended for visiting. So there is no harm on her if she stops and supplicates with the transmitted supplication, whether that is for the martyrs of Uhud or others. However, the common case is that a woman does not reach that place regarding the martyrs of Uhud except while intending to visit the graves of the martyrs there. Yes, perhaps she goes there to look at the sites of the battle, the Battle of Uhud, and while moving around in this place, she passes by these graves. So we say, as we said at the beginning, that if she stops and greets them, there is no harm in this. Yes.
