Is the lizard among the circling creatures, by analogy with the cat?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O honorable Shaykh. Is the lizard among the circling creatures, by analogy with the cat?

The Shaykh : The lizard is undoubtedly among the circling creatures, but the lizard is one that has been commanded to be killed. It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he commanded the killing of lizards, and that whoever kills one the first time has such and such a reward: one hundred good deeds, and the second time fifty. So it is something that one is commanded to kill. How should we not strive to kill it, when it blew fire upon Ibrahim (peace be upon him), as is established by the hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? So I urge you that if you find a lizard, you should kill it and hasten to do so. And Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) had, I think, a spear that she kept ready for killing lizards. Yes.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : Yes, one hundred.

The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. Is it permissible to respond to one who greets you by saying, "May Allah greet you"?

The Shaykh : Did you not take it before? Did you take the question? Did you not take it?
