Does the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) reminding the Ansar of Allah's favors at Hunayn indicate that this is permissible?

The questioner : Regarding what is reported from the Battle of Hunayn, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reminded the Ansar of Allah's favors, does this imply that it is permissible to remind a man who has been wronged of the favors of Allah the Exalted?

The Shaykh : In fact, every favor that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) bestowed is a blessing, and a person is reminded of this blessing by the Messenger... of Allah's blessing upon you.
