The Fajr prayer: I do not perform it in congregation, knowing that I perform it immediately after waking up, and I have been in this state for years

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I do not perform the Fajr prayer in congregation at its proper time except rarely, but I perform it immediately after waking up from sleep. What is the ruling on this, knowing that I have been in this state for many years?

The Shaykh : The ruling on this is that if this is due to negligence on your part, then you are sinful and your prayer is not accepted, because whoever delays the prayer beyond its time without an excuse, his prayer is not accepted even if he prays it. But if it is not due to negligence, such that you took precautions and placed an alarm by your head or instructed someone to wake you, but he forgot or sleep overtook him as it overtook you, then there is no sin on you, and you pray it when you wake up.
But my advice to you is to pay attention, my brother, to your prayer, and to make the time of your prayer like the time of the highest authority in your country, not to be late for it and not to be lax with it. Fear Allah in yourself, and whoever fears Allah, He will make his affairs easy for him.
