Explanation of the Book of Hajj-10a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Sa'id ibn Abi Maryam narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Suwayd narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Abi 'Amr, the client of al-Mut'ib, informed me, Sa'id ibn Jubayr, the client of al-Walibah al-Kufi, narrated to me, Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both):
Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I accompanied the Prophet (ﷺ) while we were returning from 'Arafat. Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard behind him a loud noise of beating and of driving the camels forcibly. He pointed towards it with his whip and said, "O people! Proceed calmly. No virtue lies in rushing."
Riyad as-Salihin 704
Hurry up, speed up, pass through the gaps between you, and open up the spaces between them.

The Shaykh : This is as previously mentioned, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered calmness, because the people were beating the camels severely and urging them with severe shouting, and this undoubtedly causes them pain, yes.

The questioner : O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Who? Raise your hand, please.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. Regarding the hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
did not stop pronouncing Talbiya till he threw pebbles at Jamrat al-'Aqaba لم يزل يلبي حتى رمى جمرة العقبة
Sahih Muslim 1281b
, is it at the beginning or at the end?

The Shaykh : How? If he begins, if he begins with it, he stops, and for this reason he said here:
Until he reached the Jamarah حتى بلغ الجمرة
meaning he reached it, and then when he reaches it, he will be occupied with another remembrance, which is the takbir.
