Is it permissible to kill game and its young that are with it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His EminenceThe Shaykh : What is the ruling on killing game and its young that are with it?

The Shaykh : Killing game and its young that are with it? Are you the questioner? Fine, why don't you take its young with it? Take its young with it, do you understand? Say yes or no, take its young with it. Its young are also good; its chicks are an adornment.

The questioner : ...eggs.

The Shaykh : There is no objection to the eggs; kill it even if the eggs are with it.

The questioner : Is it permissible, meaning?

The Shaykh : It is permissible, but the first one is not. Why? Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
He forbade a person from slaughtering a sheep while its sister is looking at it. نهى الإنسان أن يذبح الشاة وأختها تنظر إليها
This is the case of the sheep with its sister; how is it like the mother with her young?
They mentioned a story I read long ago. They say that a man slaughtered a camel's young that was with it. He slaughtered the camel's young that was with it, so the camel began to roll around on its slaughtered or bled young until it died from the intensity of its grief. This man was afflicted with madness, may Allah protect us from that, and he began to go out into the wilderness wandering. While he was going out into the wilderness, he found a red bird, a known bird, whose nest had fallen under a tree, and its young were in it. It was circling, wanting to carry the young to a safe place in the tree. It was unable to do so while circling over its young and screaming. This madman, acting without reason, took the young with their nest and placed it on a branch in the tree, securing it in the tree. The bird descended upon its young rejoicing, and Allah restored his reason. Glory to Allah! Because he did good to it, even if it was not intentional, Allah the Exalted rewarded him. Because the benefit that extends to others is a cause for a person to be rewarded, even without intention.
And this issue is one that a student of knowledge should pay attention to. A person plants a crop and plants trees from which birds benefit. Did he intend to benefit the birds from the start, or did he intend to benefit himself? He intended to benefit himself, but the birds' and insects' benefit from it is a cause for him to be rewarded.
