The reciter: Chapter: On hope and its length. And the saying of Allah the Exalted: [Ali 'Imran 3:185] [Al-Hijr 15:3].
The Shaykh : What? Repeat “Leave them.”
The reciter:[Al-Hijr 15:3], he saidThe Shaykh : Is there not a waw in “they eat”?
The reciter: Yes, there is a waw.
The Shaykh : Yes.
The reciter: And Ali ibn Abi Talib said: “The world has departed, and the Hereafter has approached, and each of them has sons. So be among the sons of the Hereafter, and do not be among the sons of the world, for today is a day of action and no reckoning, and tomorrow is a day of reckoning and no action”. By being distanced.
The Shaykh : Here Allah the Exalted said:[Ali 'Imran 3:185] Truthful is Allah, Mighty and Majestic. This success is not success in gaining something of this world; success is being kept away from the Fire and entering Paradise. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih Muslim 1844a This is among the causes of being kept away from the Fire and entering Paradise. [Ali 'Imran 3:185]: Its equivalent has been mentioned previously. And His saying: [Al-Hijr 15:3] This is a threat to them, meaning: Leave these disbelievers to eat from the blessings of Allah and enjoy them, and let hope delude them. They say, “Tomorrow I will repent, tomorrow I will repent,” and then the appointed time arrives, and they will soon know. And Allah the Exalted said in Surat al-Shu'arā: [Al-Mu'minun 23:55] in Surat al-Shu'arā, or the believers?
The reciter: The believers,
The Shaykh : Yes.[Al-Mu'minun 23:55-56]
As for the athar of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), it is mursal, as you know, and the ruling on a mursal is weakness. However, if al-Bukhari affirms a mursal, it is considered authentic with him.
So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.
Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know.
The Shaykh : What? Repeat “Leave them.”

So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]
Whoever wishes to be delivered from the fire and enter the garden should die with faith in Allah and the Last Day and should treat the people as he wishes to be treated by them.
And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.

The reciter: The believers,
The Shaykh : Yes.
(55) Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and children (56) Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive.
We hasten for them in good deeds, but they do not perceive
