The questioner : This is a question about tawaf after the cessation of menstruation. He says in this letter: I went to Hajj with my sister, and my sister was menstruating. When the Day of Sacrifice arrived, the menstruation stopped. Consequently, she performed the full ritual bath and purified herself after the blood stopped. She purified herself and performed the ablution, then she performed the tawaf of ifadah. After the tawaf of ifadah, she noticed traces of spots. We asked some scholars, and they said that this is due to the effect of walking and fatigue, and is not menstrual blood, but rather remnants. What is your opinion, may Allah reward you, regarding this tawaf? Is it valid? And what should we do if that tawaf is not valid? What is the ruling? May Allah guide you?

The Shaykh : The tawaf mentioned is valid as long as she saw purity before she performed the tawaf. These last spots may have occurred due to fatigue and walking, or due to other causes. The important thing is that as long as the woman knew of her purity and saw the white discharge, then performed the tawaf after that, and after performing the full ritual bath, then her tawaf is valid and there is no blame on her.
