Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Abdullah ibn Muslimah ibn Qu'nab narrated to us, Sulayman—meaning ibn Bilal—narrated to us from Ja'far, who is ibn Muhammad, from Ata' ibn Abi Rabah, that he heard A'ishah, the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), say:
When it was a day of wind and clouds, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would show it on his face, going back and forth. When it rained, he was pleased by it, and that state left him. A'ishah said: So I asked him, and he said: "I feared that it might be a punishment sent down upon my Ummah." And he would say when he saw the rain: "Mercy."

The Shaykh : It was said: "Whoever knows Allah best, fears Him most".
