The questioner : But his final question in this episode asks: If a man kisses his wife and teases her during the daytime in Ramadan, has he committed a sin, even if intercourse did not take place?

The Shaykh : He has not committed a sin if he kisses his wife while fasting during the daytime in Ramadan, and likewise if he jokes with her or teases her. However, he must be aware that if he does so while he suspects or is certain that he will ejaculate, based on his knowledge of his own condition, then it is forbidden for him. But if he knows from experience that he does not ejaculate from such teasing and such kissing, then there is no blame on him for that. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who was the most fearful of Allah among people and the greatest in mindfulness of Him, used to kiss while he was fasting.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you. We tell the listener H K Q N from Dhahran that one question remains, and we believe its answer will be long, so we will address it in a future episode, if Allah wills.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached the end of this meeting, in which we presented the questions of Mr. Hasan Ali Hamasu from the judges of Tal'afar, Nineveh, Iraq, who asked about shortening the prayer; the correspondent M M A from Shaqra, who asked about the debate between al-Shafi'i and Imam Ahmad; and finally, the message from the listener H K Q N from Dhahran, who asked about repentance, Hajj as a debt, Hajj on behalf of a wife, and teasing one's wife during the daytime in Ramadan.
We presented these questions to His Eminence Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, professor at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Qassim, and imam and preacher of the Grand Mosque in Unayzah.
Thank you to His Eminence Shaykh Muhammad, and thank you, my brothers. Until we meet again in your presence, we entrust you to Allah. Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
